About the Course

In this course, you will develop a foundational understanding of the key components of the GEAR UP match requirement. Learn the history and rationale behind the cost share requirement and gain a thorough understanding of key regulations. Discover common sources of match and learn what essential elements must be included in effective match documentation policies. 


Upon completion of this course, you will be able to

  • Describe the history of the GEAR UP match and explain why it exists.
  • Understand key GEAR UP match requirements and explore common sources of GEAR UP match.
  • Recognize the basic requirements and what is critical for policies to effectively document GEAR UP match.
  • Explore common mistakes and vulnerabilities in the GEAR UP match documentation process.
  • Assess your current compliance practices related to GEAR UP match.

Timing
This course should take you approximately one hour to complete.


Certificate

To receive a certificate of completion, you must complete the course and pass the assessment with an 80% or higher. You will have two retake opportunities.
